Yes. The new one sucks too. I’ve had it less than two weeks, and the non-replaceable light has failed.

I couldn’t agree more with your criticism on the old wake-up light. The buttons are way too noisy. Not only is the mechanic click too loud, also the fact that a sample of the alarm is played on each click is very annoying. I also miss the functionality to only ring the alarm on specific days of the week.

I wonder if your example of a seventies alarm is indeed one from the seventies. Isn’t Dharma Initiative the freaky psycho analytic testing company from the “Lost” TV series?

I’ve also read about this, apparently it’s not just going to be a fridge docking station, they’ve gone into some sort of partnership and are looking into doing it with all the kitchen appliances. seems pointless to me
