Dell Mini 5 – iPad/iPhone Killer?

Dell entered the tablet marked with the Dell Mini 5. Will it be an iPad or iPhone killer?

We don’t think so. It looks to big to work as a phone, but too small to be a handy tablet… The future will tell.

Mosquito Repellent USB Dongle

Plugging this device into any powered USB port should repel most flying insects according to manufacturer. This technology has not, however, received much commercial success… We wonder why…

Asus laptop with infused scent

They’ve lost it at Asus: “ASUS today launched its new 13.3-inch notebook featuring an infused scent which comes in two different flavors; ‘musky black’ and ‘morning dew’.”

Why? Probably to mask the scent of your smelly colleagues. Or: if you use your laptop in the bathroom, you can prolong your stay there (hope they’ve improved the battery life). Just guessing here, off course :-]

The video and presentation stinks, but still fun to see what others think are “the worst gadgets”.

sWAP Cell Phone Watch – another try

“The sWAP Cell Phone Watch transforms the watch into a wrist communicator a la Dick Tracy.”

Dick Tracy is old and so is this concept. We know this will never be a succesful combination.

One of the ‘features’ is that you can use it to visit WAP-sites. WAP never made it big, nobody used it, we thought it was long gone…

For a cool £ 249 it’s yours… Use it at an eighties party!

Google Chrome: scary

Google launched it’s own browser today: Chrome. The browser itself is rather good and has a few nice features. It lacks however a lot of settings you need to customize it to your needs. The fact that these settings aren’t available is scary: you just know Google is going to use this browser to gather even more information about you.

Apple’s iPhone: overexposed, overhyped

I’m the first to admit: the iPhone is a cool device, but… it’s beginning to suck big time. There’s too much to do about it, it’s overhyped and overexposed. Apple’s marketing department should take action by start working on a diversion plan to save it’s image….

In the meantime we’ll be waiting for the first Android phone (GPhone maybe?).
